| Industrial Design Student's Exhibition, 3-6 June 2009 |

The Department of Industrial Design from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje organized an exhibition "Future Urban Life" which was open on 03/06/2009 at 20:00 o’clock at the gallery “Mala Stanica” in Skopje.
The opening speech was held by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. D-r. Atanas Kochov. Speeches were also held by the professors Tatjana Kandikjan and Sofija Sidorenko from the department of Industrial Design and the professors Clemens Stuebner and Andreas Gebhardt from the University of Applied Sciences, Aachen, Germany.
The exhibition was an excellent opportunity for the students of the Department of Industrial Design to show their work and their projects realized in the last year. The presented designs were on different themes (transportation, interiors, bathtubs, home appliances, perfume bottles, bus stations and etc.) presenting the potential and the talent of the students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The 3D models of the designs were printed on posters.
At this exhibition were presented the results from the students collaboration between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Skopje, Macedonia and the University of Aachen, Germany. The project was organized and financed by the TEMPUS organization and its thematic was a development of an electric urban vehicle for 4 passengers. The exhibition was a success and was visited by many who were fascinated by the potential and the talent of the students.
